SewMax makes every effort to present each machine, equipment and accessory to the best of our ability with detailed descriptions and as many images as possible so that you – as the buyer – know exactly what you are purchasing, at what price, and how long the shipping time should be on each item.
Most of the new machines are sold with a 1 year limited warranty period that includes the mechanical and electronic parts of the machine. Highly wearable components under normal operation such as hooks, loopers, needle plates, needle bar screws, bobbin cases, feet, etc. are not covered and are the responsibility of the buyer to perform normal maintenance to keep the machines running in optimum condition.
SewMax will ship each machine in assembled and tested condition – and in cases of electronic machinery such as tackers, pattern machines, etc – videos will be presented to the buyer to assure that the machine is performing to your exact specifications – before we ship out.
As part of your warranty, SewMax will supply you and ship you any parts that are within the scope of the warranty and of your mechanical ability to replace during the warranty period. If there is a case that an issue is outside of your ability to fix, all warranty service will be performed in our Dallas, Texas facility. That means that you will either have to bring the machine to us – if within a reasonable distance – or you will need to ship the machine (head only in most cases) to us. Delivery and/or shipping both ways will be the responsibility of the customer.
We will accept returns only if there is as major breakage of an integral component or some major factory defect preventing a quick fix. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Return period is within 7 days of receipt of the machine. Contact us at 469-879-6213 to present your information to us and help us determine any issues and to decide on further plan of action.
A 10 percent re-stocking fee may apply to your return.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 2 to 4 days.
